I'm back with day 3 of the "11 Days of TRE Reviews" and today's review is the Vooray ACE Backpack which is the actual "swag bag" that all of our gear came in. Something so simple but also probably the thing I've gotten the most use out of since coming back from Austin. Before I dive into everything I love about the bag, here's a quick intro to the company from their website:

"We've been at this since 2015 when we noticed a disturbing trend in fitness fashion. While activewear brands had come a long way in improving their quality, designs, and prices, nobody was offering similar improvements in accessories. Many brands focused on design at the expense of quality and price. Others focused on price at the expense of design and quality. We felt like we deserved better, and we knew customers would agree. Hence, Vooray was born."

Vooray Backpacks - Premium Product, Affordable Price

Alright, so let's start right away with a huge plus with all Vooray bags. One of their primary goals is to make quality bags without consumers having to break the bank. They have an AWESOME product line and they don't have a single bag priced over $100. It's refreshing finding a company that's put such a focus on affordability without sacrificing quality.

Designed with Athletes in Mind

Vooray has several options to choose from when perusing their catalog, and although they may not all be sport-specific, it's clear that the bags were designed for active individuals. The ACE Backpack we received at TRE is a more casual "day-to-day" backpack but the interior and exterior material is a lot more durable than bags I've had in the past (I actually just tore open the top of my last backpack).

Many of their other products feature unique features for athletes like backpacks with separate shoe compartments to keep the rest of your gear separated from your footwear after a particularly grueling workout. Their fanny packs also have a nice mesh backing to be more breathable to wear on a run.

It's the little details like that which I really appreciate from Vooray's products. I actually also snagged one of their fanny packs to take with me on short hikes to hold keys, wallet, snacks, etc.

Minimalistic Backpack Design

This is where I will struggle with my vocabulary a bit but I feel like the bag's designs are very trendy. They've got a lot of awesome patterns for their bags but they're not overly flashy. They don't have a million zippers and pouches to search through, just the ones you need.

The ACE backpack has been the perfect bag for me to take to work every day because the sleek black design looks professional, and it's got space for my laptop, lunch, coffee, and any other things I may need to bring back and forth from home to the office.

Small Details, Big Difference

The last thing I'll mention is the attention to detail in Vooray's bags. As I said above, they work hard to create premium bags and that shows through in some of the smaller features they include. I mentioned things like the separate shoe compartment, but another seemingly small detail I love about the ACE backpack is the "comfort links" attached to the shoulders.

Comfort links are just tiny fabric links that connect the shoulder straps to the bag but that simple addition allows the bag to fit more securely and comfortably around your shoulders. Like I said, such a simple addition but one that makes a big difference.

Whether you're looking for a new gym bag, travel bag, or just a day-to-day backpack, Vooray has a wide array of awesome, and most importantly, affordable options to choose from. They've designed a line of high-quality bags for active lifestyles while still focussing on keeping the cost low for the consumer.

I've already got two of their bags in my arsenal and will likely be upgrading my gym bag in the near future as well. Their bags are sleek, minimalistic, and incredibly comfortable, and the ACE backpack specifically is perfect for a daily-use backpack to hold all of your essentials. Their bags aren't in any way gaudy or flashy but offer a simple contemporary look with all of the features you could need. I would absolutely recommend checking them out!
