Every runner who's ever gone on a run in the daylight (so most of us) knows the pain of trying to find a pair of sunglasses that are comfortable to run in. Before receiving the XX2i Bahamas 1 Sunglasses through BibRave, I had a pair of more casual shades that often bounced when I ran, didn't fit with my over-ear headphones, and fogged up frequently.
For all of these reasons, I jumped at the chance to try out a new pair of sunglasses and XX2i did not disappoint! I went with the Bahamas 1 Casual Sunglasses in Matte Black with Polarized Grey Lenses

My XX2i Bahamas 1 Review
First things first, what's in the box? The sunglasses I ordered came along with a hard shell case as well as a soft carrying bag to protect the lenses. Not only that but they also come with free XX2i krokies, a must for any sunglasses I'm wearing. Lastly, XX2i sunglasses come with a lifetime, no-questions-asked warranty and a 365-day return policy!
As I mentioned above, these are not performance sunglasses, they're from XX2i's casual line. That being said, I immediately switched from my old pair to wearing these on a run and haven't stopped since. I run with a hat as well as a pair of Aftershokz headphones so the space above my ear is pretty slim.
The first thing I noticed with my Bahamas 1 sunglasses was that they fit snug behind my headphones and under my hat and everything stays put no matter how far I run, no bouncing! That was a huge issue for me with sunglasses I've had in the past, no matter how I seemed to finagle them, they'd bounce on the bridge of my nose with every step.
Aside from the fit of the frames, the lenses are incredibly clear. I've owned polarized sunglasses in the past but something about these just seems clearer. My eyes are incredibly sensitive to sunlight so quality lenses are a must for me. Coming from someone who's constantly squinting through the day, it's nice how clearly and vibrantly everything comes through the shades.
Out of all of the runs I've gone on with my Bahamas 1s, I've only had one issue with them fogging up and it wasn't even during the run. It was the hottest, most humid, and haziest run I've gone on since getting these sunglasses and sweat was pouring down my face. As soon as they started to fog I just wiped them off, wiped down my face, and haven't had a problem since.
Overall, I love these sunglasses, and love running in them. They fit great, are super clear, and look great on my Instagram!
