Since getting my towel, I've taken it with me on virtually every run and am already thinking about snagging a second for when I've got a running buddy with me.So what exactly is the Transition and Seat Wrap? First and foremost it's a large towel, 30"x60", but it's also got a few bonus features. On one end of the towel, there's a zipper to form a pouch that allows you to hook your towel over your car seat to keep your seats clean after a muddy/sweaty run. Along the side of the towel, there's also a belt which allows you to securely fasten the belt around your waist to give you some privacy if you need to change into some clean clothes post-run.

As I said, a transition towel is something I didn't give much thought to before I got one for myself but it's crazy how much I've used it. All three functions of the towel have come in handy on many of my runs throughout the last few weeks and it's definitely coming with me for future race days. Let's take a closer look at the main functions of the towel

Microfiber Towel

As an actual towel, it functions as expected. I'm not going to go on and on about how it's the best towel I've ever used. I will say that the microfiber material is incredibly soft which makes the towel incredibly comfortable. I've always got the towel waiting for me after a rainy day run to dry me off and warm me up as quickly as possible once I'm back inside.

Privacy Towel

I've actually been using the towel for more than just running, taking it with me on any trip where I may need to change quickly on the go. As I mentioned, the towel comes with a secure belt on one side so you can securely fasten it around your waist. Once fastened, the towel itself is plenty long so you can manage a quick change while remaining covered up by the towel. This is great now that it's getting colder so I can change into a warm pair of sweats before driving home from my long runs.

Seat Wrap

I've probably used the seat cover function the most and I love it! In the past, I'd always just used an old beach towel but it would never stay on the chair. Especially in the warmer months when I'm driving home with the windows down and cranking my post-run jams, a normal towel ends up just blowing all over the place.The design of the Orange Mud Transition and Seat Wrap is so simple but by zippering together on one side, the towel can fasten around your headrest so it won't move around no matter how hard you may dance around. I know my car seats are definitely going to appreciate the added protection after my more intense workouts.This is just one of those products that you may not have ever heard about but once you've got one, it immediately becomes an essential addition to your gym bag.
